As a dog owner I tried all sorts of training methods in the past, probably like you. Some basic
training worked but when it came down to behavioural issues and hoping the dogs would listen, nothing worked!
When we had a dog that barked a lot, who didn't want to be left at home alone either, well,

About me:
Hi there, welcome to my website. My name is Andrea and I live in Hampshire, UK
with my family and our super dog.
I specialise in Dog Communication and Behaviour.
I grew up with dogs and other animals.
In the past I have helped owners with caring for their dogs, horses and other pets.
I worked for a year in America for a family who owned horses and dogs.
When I returned home, I enjoyed looking after dogs and all sorts of different animals working for Animal Aunts, ( first established in1987).
I house sat and looked after our friends 3 dogs and their 19 year old cat for
9 months whilst they travelled around the world. ( A Springer Spaniel, very active,
a Norfolk Terrier, very independent and a black X-Labrador, calm and easy going). This is when I started gaining more experience working with small to large dogs as well as reading lots of books on canine behaviour.
In 2003 I studied Canine Sports Therapy in Devon where I started treating dogs with massage therapy. I was always asked by the owners to help with their dogs unwanted behaviours. I was eager to help the owners to
understand their dogs language.
All though training dogs in the basics was easy, there was
always something missing.
I wanted to understand how to communicate and work with our own dogs and owners dogs in a kind, gentle way so they chose to listen to me and their owners.
After studying over a year with the Dog Trainer Academy I graduated in 2022.
I have helped lots of owners establish a special bond with their puppies and dogs making the training so much more easier and special.

" Andrea was incredible with helping us with our 4 year old Jack Russell Panda. Although a wonderful dog, there were some dogs Panda was not keen on and her barking when someone came to the door was out of control. Andrea visited us and noticed that Panda was holding a lot of responsibility and being overly protective which we needed to take away from her.
Andrea spend time with us talking us through her techniques and within moments we could see changes in our Panda's behaviour - we were amazed! We implemented these practices and we quickly noticed that we were now in more control, Panda was more relaxed and calmer - friends even commented on how much calmer she was.
Although she does still bark when the door goes, this is an ongoing process and we are determined to keep going with the techniques - we have seen changes however, and she stays in her bed when someone knocks on the door and calms down very quickly.
Andrea is excellent. Andrea spent time with us, listening to our needs, adapted things to suit our needs and has been on hand throughout.

Puppies and dogs have their own unique characters which we want to nurture

An easy programme is put together by the behaviourist/trainer for the owners to work with in their busy daily lives.

With this unique method we do ask you to continue practicing what has been taught.

You will be offered Free Post Consultation Advice, Help and Reassurance, for weeks or months by phone and/or email. You are not alone, we are here to help you succeed in helping your dogs become calmer members of the family/home, who will want to listen to you.
As a family, we attended an agility class in the past and we were shouted at! Our dog was just not ready for this type of activity and nor were the rest of the 12 different breed of dogs out of 16 in the class. Only 4 dogs were left after the
6 week course. The rest had given up ! These classes can be enjoyable but they are not going to train your dogs
nor will these kind of courses help with behavioural issues.
